Opening Meditation
Durga is the fierce and compassionate power that cuts through illusion and frees us from what binds the heart. She is the plow that uproots our attachments, clearing space for truth to take root. Each of her weapons represents the strength we need to release the patterns that hold us back. As we chant her mantra and sit in meditation, we invite Durga’s energy to work through us—steady, unwavering, and devoted to liberation.
Lesson 1: The Path is the Destination
In this lesson, we begin to bridge our awareness from subtle setup work into fuller, more integrated movement. Instead of rushing toward the shape of a posture, we’ll explore how sensation unfolds along the path itself—how fascia, muscle, and awareness collaborate in motion. By reconnecting with the primal intelligence of rolling, we awaken the same coordinated teams of movement that first taught us how to lift our heads, reach, and eventually rise into the world.
Lesson 2: Rippling Awareness
In this lesson, we bring movement and awareness into rhythm with one another. Rolling evolves into rippling—an exploration of how energy flows through the body as sensation, not force. By moving in waves rather than lines, we awaken the subtle pulse of awareness described in the Shiva Sutras and Pratyabhijñāhṛdayam, where each motion becomes a gentle churning that stirs consciousness itself.
